Sadly, there is no shortage of problems in the world — some are small, some are large; some are solvable and some are devilishly insoluble. WIN/Gallup International wanted to know what people from around the world considered to be the world’s top problem as 2013 came to a close. The survey asked 66,806 people living in 65 different countries: what is the most pressing problem in the world today? If you read the news on a regular basis, you will not be surprised to learn that the top problems of the world are centered around the headline issues of money and politicians. Below are some of the key findings from the survey.
The World’s Biggest Problems:
Corruption: 21%
Gap between the rich and the poor: 12%
Unemployment: 10%
Environmental issues: 7%
Religious fundamentalism: 2%
